AFI Ignite

A person named Hans Wold is credited with reading the third verse in the "Untitled/Spoken Word" poem on the last track of Sing the Sorrow. Until recently, his identity was completely unknown. Thanks to a few probing Message Board posters, we have found Hans Wold.

Cemetary records show that Josephine Mary Wold was buried in 2007. She is listed as the wife of Hans Wold. Josephine was buried in Ukiah, CA, a small town that AFI has a strong connection to; they grew up there.

Hans is listed as being born in 1922, so he was about 70 years old when he lent his voice to Sing the Sorrow. He is still alive, because his burial is listed as "future."
