1. Who is in AFI?

   AFI is comprised of:

   Davey Havok- Vocals

   Adam Carson- Drums

   Jade Puget- Gutair

   Hunter Burgan- Bass

   
   

   These are the former AFI members:

   Vic Chalker- Bass (1991-1992)

   Geoff Kresge- Bass (1992-April 7th, 1997)

   Mark Stopholese- Guitar (1991-1998)
   

2. I heard AFI was breaking up. Is that true?

   No,  AFI is not breaking up.
   

3. Is Davey gay?

   The band has never spoken openly about their sexuality.  Even if he was gay, it shouldn't matter.
   

4. When is AFI coming to my city?

   Any tour dates will be posted on the HQ as soon as we receive the word from management.
   

5. Do the members of AFI go online?

   Yes, they all are aware of 21st century technology.
   

6. What does/did AFI stand for?

   AFI currently stands for A Fire Inside. They've gone by A Fire Inside since 1997 with the release of Shut Your Mouth and Open Your Eyes.

   
   

   However, AFI didn't initially have a meaning. Afterwards, it had stood for both "Anthems For Insubordinates" and "Asking For It". Popular belief was that these were the mailing addresses, but this is what AFI, as a band, stood for. This is confirmed by former AFI member Geoff Kresge!
   

7. So what members played in which album?

   On Dork until Very Proud of Ya: Davey, Adam, Mark and Geoff
   

   On Shut Your Mouth and A Fire Inside EP: Davey, Adam, Mark and Hunter

   On Black Sails in The Sunset until today: Davey, Adam, Jade and Hunter
   

The HQ

1. When did AFI News HQ begin?

   The HQ was created in February 2009 on an ongoing effort by Jason to keep all the fans updated with the Valentine's Day is Fake mystery.
   

2. If I send you an email, will you give it to AFI?

   We do not have any kind of contact with the members of AFI, so we're sorry to say we can't!
   

3. Does AFI know about AFI News HQ?

   Yes.  We have been lucky enough to meet them and they have praised our work. Former AFI member Geoff Kresge has been interviewed by us as well.
   

4. Can I join the HQ team?

   Sorry, but we are all booked.
   

5. Can I meet you guys in person or talk to you online?

   Sure.  We all are available via email, AIM, and we are always heading to AFI shows around the world.  Stop by and say hi.
